We have serious wildfires going on today throughout the entire north county of San Diego - Jesse's work building is in flames today, he had to stay home. we got the call at 7am. the fires are about 30 minutes north of us, hundreds of people have been evacuated from their homes and right now there is 0% containment of the fires as we have these wierd 25 mph winds that are making it impossible to contain. The winds are expected to continue through tomorrow i believe. I added pictures of the fire taken last night - found on NBC's website.
say a prayer for containment of the fire and protection of the people and wildlife down here - i'm not worried at all about it getting close to our home, but you can see the smoke and smell it all the way where we live.
