Today Hank and I went on our first walk outside - we used our little umbrella stroller (from Aunt Rebecca) since i haven't gone walking yet and only went a few blocks. (we have a jogger stroller, but it's pretty 'large and in charge' so i'll save it for longer walks and when i start running again.) Hank slept through the whole walk...big suprise ;)
The other pictures are of Hank on his activity mat. he does really well observing and following objects, whether it be a colorful toy on the activity mat or a piece of bread that i'm eating. he loves to look at light, i.e. our dining room chandelier. Hank started smiling last week which was sooo awesome and cute, he smiled when i said "hi sweetie" and "i love you". You'll notice in one of the pictures above that he does a puckered up face i call the Zoolander face, (if you haven't seen that movie it's the modeling pose the main character does all the time with his face). He's also talking a little bit more (the cooing and ga-ga talking i mean.) His umbilical cord finally fell off too - not sure where it went, but a few days ago during a diaper change i noticed it was gone. so, that means we can do a real bath now instead of those sponge baths where it's easy for him to get cold quickly, so this will be good. Hank will be one month old next week (holy cow i can't believe it!) so i'm sure i'll have a new post next week with new pics. -Shari
