Beach Camping

Hank had his first experience tent-camping! Jesse, Hank and I went to San Elijo State Beach this weekend in Encinitas, CA with some friends and it was a blast! Hank did really well. He especially enjoyed crawling around in our huge tent we had, and crawling around all over the beach (as well as eating a ton of sand... nothing i could do to prevent it!) He also loved standing at the edge of the water and jumping up just before a new wave would come in.

we had a camp fire at night, played on the beach during the day, and walked around the camp grounds in the jogger stroller. There was practically a dog at every camp so Hank enjoyed touring around and looking at all the doggies. The camping site is right above the actual beach on a cliff. This was our third year camping at this campground, i can't wait for next year when Hank will be walking / running all over!









(don't worry, i slathered sunscreen all over Hank. he didn't get any color from the sun at all.)
