May Update

Duke has a few little things he does that i wanted to journal about so i can look back and remember someday. He is turning 10 months old on the 12th, this Thursday. He knows how to push the buttons on Hank's dump truck that make noises; he's starting to wave at us when he's happy, He can pull himself up almost to standing in his crib; rubs his face back and forth into his blankie when he receives it and is tired, and he can imitate some sounds we make to him on command. He is rocking back and forth and lunging forward now, going to be crawling very soon i think!
As far as the rest of the family, we are moving into our new rental home next weekend! It's just a few blocks up from the little duplex we are in now, and it's just perfect for us. 2900 sq. ft., incredible view from every window in the back of the house, hardwood floor all downstairs, 2 story with three beds and 3 baths, 4 car garage, and an attached office on the side of the house that also has a view, this was much needed for Jesse working from home! it's on 5 acres, no neighbors, still close to the ferry. It also has updated kitchen, but an interesting "blue" theme, blue tiles and blue carpet upstairs. not an ugly blue, but blue none the less...interesting. :) Gotta love rentals. Hank is excited for the huge jacuzzi tub upstairs too!

I've signed Hank up for a preschool in the fall that i visited and love! As far as the summer goes, we will be busy with family coming up to visit, and various vacations with friends.
 I will post pictures of the house once we move in - future plans are to build a chicken coop, we'll see how that goes!
